Climate change has pushed erosion within feet of the remote Alaska Native community of Newtok. Albertina Charles and the rest of the village residents know that relocating Newtok is the only option. Will Federal funding arrive soon enough or will this community be separated forever?

Katie is a photographer and filmmaker from Bethel, Alaska. After completing a degree in journalism from the University of Montana, she lived and worked in Prague and New York City. Eventually Katie returned home to focus on documentary work and explore multimedia storytelling with rural Alaskan youth. She is committed to producing films that authentically convey the experience of living in Southwest Alaska.
